King Baboon Tarantulas for Sale – Pelinobius muticus

Looking to buy a King Baboon Tarantula online?

King Baboon Tarantulas are among the largest and most powerful Old World tarantulas in the hobby. Native to East Africa, Pelinobius muticus is prized for its impressive size, rich reddish-brown coloration, massive legs, and extraordinary burrowing ability. Their prehistoric appearance and fascinating natural behaviors have made them highly sought after by experienced tarantula enthusiasts.

These fossorial tarantulas spend nearly all of their lives underground, constructing deep, elaborate burrow systems that may extend several feet in the wild. King Baboon Tarantulas thrive in enclosures with deep, compact substrate, moderate humidity, and secure hiding places that encourage natural burrowing behavior. Although they are often hidden from view, their occasional appearances make them one of the hobby's most rewarding display species.
