Outer Banks Kingsnakes

Outer Banks Kingsnake for Sale – Lampropeltis getula sticticeps

Looking to buy an Outer Banks Kingsnake online?

The Outer Banks Kingsnake is a unique coastal locality of Lampropeltis getula, known for its reduced patterning, darker tones, and often speckled or muted appearance. Native to the barrier islands of North Carolina, this kingsnake carries a distinct look compared to more common chain or California kingsnakes.

Instead of bold banding, many Outer Banks Kingsnakes display a more refined, broken pattern or near-patternless appearance, giving them a cleaner, more understated aesthetic. This makes them especially appealing to collectors who appreciate subtle variation and locality-specific animals.

Like other kingsnakes, they are hardy, adaptable, and known for strong feeding responses. Captive-bred specimens are well-started and adjust quickly to proper care, making them suitable for both newer keepers and experienced enthusiasts looking to add something different to their collection.

This is not your typical high-contrast kingsnake, and that is exactly the point. Outer Banks Kingsnakes offer a more refined, locality-driven look that stands apart from mass-produced morphs.
