Reeves Turtles for Sale – Mauremys reevesii

Looking to buy a Reeves Turtle online?

Reeves Turtles are attractive Asian aquatic turtles known for their compact size, distinctive three-keeled shell, and engaging personalities. Mauremys reevesii, also commonly known as the Chinese Three-Keeled Pond Turtle, develops three prominent longitudinal ridges along the carapace that give the species its characteristic appearance. Their manageable adult size and active behavior have made them a longtime favorite among aquatic turtle enthusiasts.

Reeves Turtles thrive in spacious, well-filtered aquatic habitats with clean water, adequate swimming room, and a completely dry basking area equipped with appropriate heat and UVB lighting. They are omnivorous and should be offered a varied diet. Quality aquatic turtle pellets can form an important part of their diet supplemented with appropriate insects, worms, shrimp, aquatic foods, and plant material.
